Zero Waste Patterning
Garments are cut and sewn from patterns, which traditionally waste 15% of the material because every positive shape has a negative that is off cut and disposed of. Our patterns are like giant puzzles where one positive shape forms another positive shape so that zero fabric is wasted in the production process.
Deadstock Textiles
We source from Nick of Time, a purveyor of deadstock textiles. That means, this fabric was manufactured and abandoned before being utilized. By exclusively using deadstock textiles, we are validating the labor, time, and natural resources imbued within the material and preventing it from wasting away in a landfill.
Hand Dyed
In collaboration with ReDye Club, our garments are hand dyed, to order, in New York City by Jessi Highet and Nina Bowers.
Made To Order
An estimated 100 billion garments are manufactured every year, many of which end up abandoned in the Atacama Desert before they're ever sold. We cut and sew to order to ensure each garment has a home, and it's the best fit for you.
